A set of portfolio shots for a tailor-made, bespoke fashion designer within the UK. We decided to label the portfolio as "Faceless Fashion"; this was done to reaffirm the designers hands-on, local appeal in contrast to the conglomerate corporations which at present dwarf the market.
This was then applied to her selection through the photography; by manipulation of the models faces to retract from the present day bravado that its which model is wearing the clothes that matters, whilst visually reaffirming the message behind the campaign.
Grid patterns were applied to create intrigue on a visual level into the designs, whilst covering up sections and replicating others would distort the original image to differentiate from the large fashion houses crisp, clear images; which would also physically get people closer to the prints at promotional events so they could fully understand what is happening, which inturn would help bridge the gap between customer and designer at promotional events.
